From writing stories and scripts in childhood, her years in customer service, and studying English at Simon Fraser University, it is clear that Samantha has always been a passionate communicator. Sam began utilizing her love of communications as a Project Coordinator at Blackberry Ltd and then as a Marketing and Communications support at Simon Fraser University. In these positions she mastered her communication skills with tasks like managing department websites, creating print and web promotional materials, web design, engaging prospective students at public speaking appointments, and tripling readership for a Co-op focused blog. Sam went on to apply her diverse skill-set as a Communications Coordinator at Canada Rare Earth Corp., where she overhauled company branding standards and made her mark in Vancouver.

Currently, Sam applies her eagerness to innovate, boundless energy and years of Marketing and Communications experience to The Incubator as their Marketing Coordinator. She looks forward to helping her Incubator team continue to shape Vancouver’s thriving community and share Vancouver’s latest innovators with the world.
